Programme Manager - Finance

The Role

Six month + assignment for a programme manager who has experience of a large data migration programme for Finance and Accountancy, specifically financial accounting and general (nominal) ledger. The role sits within a UK Retail Bank and will be responsible for the planning, strategy and cut over for all data migration for all General ledgers, system build activities including reconciliations as well, communication plans, resource management, coordination of dry run activities and all work related to a successful migration.

The successful candidate will be a Programme manager with previous experience of data migration for financial accounting using SAP or Oracle in a retail financial services environment. (Candidates do not need to be qualified Accountants although this is preferred, but they do need to understand financial accounting and in particular GL). Experience of leading large scale data migration projects are essential as is the ability to coordinate such activity over a number of different business units.
