Interim Chief Operating Officer

The Role

An Interim COO is required by a highly regarded Wealth Management organisation based in the UK. The organisation has built up a strong reputation with high net worth Clients. Venture Capital backed, the company is now looking to make its overall service operate more efficiently - the idea being that customers will consider the level of service ‘slick'. This will more closely align with their perceived image in the market place. Central to this, the organisation requires that the COO undertakes to process map the existing operation, and then integrate new back-office systems to meet this aspiration. You will also take on responsibility for day to day operations, staff management and issues escalation. The staff at this organisation are a combination of accountancy and legal experts, though the business also has a strong sales focus.

The successful candidate will be an experienced COO, with experience gained in a Financial Services or legal environment. Candidates with experience in Wealth Management and/or VC backed businesses will be of particular interest, though this is not essential. It is essential that the successful candidate has strong experience of operational process mapping and back-office systems integration. The role is to start immediately, is based in the UK and is expected to last for 6 Months.
